Driving Directions

From Highway 101,
U.S. 101 take the University Avenue exit west toward Stanford;

you will drive through downtown Palo Alto, go under the overpass and over El Camino Real (the Peninsula's main drag), and - you're on campus.

Continue on (now) Palm Drive to Arboretum Road, and turn right.

Drive till Arboretum dead-ends at Sand Hill Road Rd and turn left.

Go left at the next light - Pasteur Drive, where you'll turn left and drive to Blake Wilbur.

Turn left and park in the 2-story parking garage ahead of you on the right.

Walk to the exit on the hospital side of the entrance of the garage.

Enter hospital through double doors at end of walkway. (You will see the cafeteria as you enter hospital).

Turn left, then a quick right through the cafeteria eating area. Once outside of the eating area, there’s a hallway that goes left.

Walk down this hallway all the way to the end and you will find several doors to your right that lead to the outside.

Go through these doors, make a left on the path, then the first right into the Cardiovascular Research Building (CRVC, also known as the Falk Building).

From Highway 280,
Interstate 280 take the Sand Hill Road exit east towards Palo Alto.

You'll go through several stop signs and through a major intersection at Santa Cruz Ave/Alpine Road.

When you come to Pasteur Drive turn right and drive to Blake Wilbur.

Turn left and park in the 2-story parking garage ahead of you on the right.

Walk to the exit on the hospital side of the entrance of the garage.

Enter hospital through double doors at end of walkway. (You will see the cafeteria as you enter hospital).

Taking the train,
Get off at the University and Alma Street station (downtown Palo Alto).

After departing the train, pick up the (free) shuttle called the Marguerite Line A (red & white bus).

It will take you right to the medical center. Depart the bus at the Emergency Room drop off.

Enter hospital at the Emergency Room entrance.

Turn right and walk to the end of hallway (rather long walk).

At end of hallway you will find several doors to your right that lead to the outside.

Go through these doors, make a left on the path, then the first right into the Cardiovascular Research Building (CRVC, also known as the Falk Building).
